The ClubWPT Player of the Year award recognizes online poker players who have exhibited consistency and excellence on the virtual felt in ClubWPT tournaments throughout 2024.

The POY leaderboard honors outstanding accomplishments in three (3) separate races – awarding prizes in each:

Twenty (20) marvelous prizes totaling over $25,000 will be awarded, including a $12,000 WPT® World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas Passport and a custom made ClubWPT Player of the Year trophy to the Season 2024 winner. The runner-up of the Season 2024 Leaderboard, along with the top finisher of each Session Leaderboard races – will each take home a $2,500 WPT® Prime Championship Passport.

How Does The Leaderboard Work?

A total of twenty (20) VIP tournaments spread over the course of seven (7) months will be eligible for POY points, with one (1) point being awarded for every player you beat in each event.

For Example:

If there are 1,500 players in the tournament – and you win – you will earn 1,499 points.

If there are 1,500 players in the tournament – and you finish 200th place – you will earn 1,299 points.

And if there are 1,500 players in the tournament – and you are the 10th player eliminated – you will earn 9 points.

Introducing the ClubWPT Player of the Year Competition

The ClubWPT Player of the Year award recognizes poker players who have exhibited consistency and excellence on the virtual felt in ClubWPT tournaments throughout 2022.

The top ten (10) finishers in the leaderboard standings at the end of the season will all win prizes with the winner receiving a $12,000 WPT® World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas Passport and a custom made ClubWPT Player of the Year trophy. The second and third place finishers will both receive a $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport each.

How Does The Leaderboard Work?

What Events Are POY Eligible?

The qualifying events are planned to take place the last two Sundays of the month – February thru October 2022. Check this ClubWPT Player of the Year page and inside the ClubWPT game client each month to verify the leaderboard eligible events.

Leaderboard standings will be posted on this page and updated within 48 hours of the conclusion of each eligible leaderboard tournament.

To participate in the ClubWPT Player of the Year Leaderboard, qualifying tournament players need to have an active VIP or Diamond level membership.

What Can I Win?

1st Place: $12,000 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas Passport and a ClubWPT Player of the Year trophy.

2nd: $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport.

3rd: $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport.

4th: 6 months free of ClubWPT Diamond membership.
