The WPT® Playground Championship is a welcome return as the Season XXII World Poker Tour® schedule is once again bolstered by a trip up to the Great White North.

The entire WPT® Playground festival will bring three (3) Championship events across a 17-day festival, including the WPT500 Championship, WPT® Prime Championship, and the WPT® Playground Championship – with its $1.5 million CAD prize pool being the leading highlight.

In addition to the $5,000 WPT® Playground Championship Passport awarded – $500 cash will be shared among the remaining final table finishers, from 2nd to 9th place.

The winner of the WPT® Playground Championship Passport qualifier tournament will receive a seat to the WPT® Playground Championship main tour event running Thursday, Oct. 24 through Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 at Playground in Montreal, Canada.

Playground has been the backdrop for many groundbreaking moments in poker and shares a rich history with the World Poker Tour® since their landmark inaugural event in 2012 – including crowning the first female champion in a WPT® open event and witnessing the legendary Mike Sexton secure his first WPT® Championship.

The WPT® Playground Championship features a $1,500,000 CAD prize pool guarantee.

PLEASE NOTE: The WPT® Playground Championship Passport winner will be pre-registered to play the Day 1C heat on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 of the WPT® Playground Championship main tour event.
